Ready to ship!

This is a fantastic set of dread falls that will make you feel like a Princess. Drawing inspiration from Grace Kelly (a legendary blonde starlet who later became the Princess of Monaco), this fantastic set of dread falls combines a number of different blondes, browns, strawberry blonde, white, and gold to match with a variety of hair types and colors.

This beautiful set of dread falls has layered dreads that range from 13 to 16 inches in length. Mounted on two elastic bands to allow you to style your hair in a pony tail or pigtails to attach these lovely ‘locks.

I have been in business as Dreadnaught Darling for almost two years! I had the urge to make some other hair items, to branch out and give myself some variety. I’ve been thinking about this particular item for quite some time and the various ways I could implement it. Finally, I decided to just give it a whirl.

I present to you my new line of braids/plaits!

These beautiful braids are roughly between 32 – 36 inches long! To install, tie your hair into a loose bun and wrap the band around your hair. These allow you to have the fantastic look of long hair, without all the work of growing it out.

Left: Fishtail/Herringbone plait (Color: Bright Auburn) $25.00 for 1/ $45 for a matching pair.

Middle: Regular 3 strand plait (Color: Dark Brown) $20.00 for 1/ $35.00 for a matching pair.

Right: 5 strand plait (Color: Ginger) $25.00 for 1/ $45 for a matching pair.

Require States to Reform Zoning Codes to Allow Tiny Home Structures Under 1000 Square Feet:

I live in a tiny house. It’s 135 square feet.

The 1000+ sq foot zoning requirements currently in place in most states, were initiated by lenders/municipalities, in an attempt to force Americans to build bigger homes, thus incurring larger debt (so lenders could make more$) and municipalities could charge higher taxes.This practice limits the ability of Americans to achieve the “American Dream” of home ownership in a structure size that suits their needs.There is a growing trend to build smaller homes but it is difficult because of these restrictions. Laws requiring homes to be1000+ sq feet are unconstitutional and should be abolished. States should be required to remove these laws so that more families can live within their financial means, in a structure that suits their needs, and supports their environmentally held beliefs.

I concur. Wholeheartedly. My Grandfather was commenting at Thanksgiving that he wishes I would become a conservative instead of a liberal… as he was touting how much he loved Fox news and Bill O’Reilly … and I pitched my vote in for Keith Olberman and the internet. He scoffed at me. I advised that it was highly unlikely that anyone of my age bracket would become a ‘conservative’.

As millennials mature, we’re learning that education and jobs and capitalism and presidents and life are presented to us much differently than they are in reality.

That’s a general evolution in the early twenties, granted, but, again, I just don’t see the Republicans appealing to my generation by fervently maintaining the same tired Bushisms of the past and hoping no one notices. Honestly, why are all young adults “liberal?” Because there’s no real conservatism anymore. We’re not old enough to remember any kind of Republican other than Bush. What are we supposed to think?

Like any generation before us, millennials have been defined by a series of landmark events: experiencing 9/11 as a preteen or teen, the colorful and diverse corruption and murderous deceit exposed throughout the Bush administration, the Glenn Beck Show’s fomenting of political paranoia and unimaginable partisanship, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, the burgeoning global powers overseas, the advent of the internet, the availability of thought leadership channels like MSNBC, Huffington Post, Fox News, and NewsMax rather than journalism and intelligent, measured debate.

We are 80 million Americans who will be defining politics for decades to come and we’ve grown up in a world where politics has become increasingly harder to define. Whatever it is, it’s apparently not a system of thoughtful leaders seeking compromise for the betterment of all.
